Welcome to St. Joseph School
St. Joseph CARES Program provides professional care, supervision, and activities for your child after regular school hours. It serves families who desire both parochial school education and after-school care in a Catholic environment.
The CARES Program operates between 3:00 and 6:00 p.m. on regular school days. Students may participate on a full or part time basis.
The cost is $5.00/hour for one child, $9.00/hour for two or more. The Program does operate on both scheduled and unscheduled early dismissal days, including the first days of school. On these days the cost is $11.00 plus the hourly rate starting at 3:00 p.m. Only those families who are registered may participate in this program either on a full or part time basis. The initial registration fee is $25.00 per family per year.
The required fees are the sole support of the CARES Program. It is not subsidized by the school or the parish. We ask, therefore, that payment for service be made promptly.
Students who remain on school premises after 3:15 p.m. and who are not participating in a schedule extra-curricular activity are considered part of the extended care program. Parents will subsequently be responsible for the required fee and will be billed for the service.
The program staff assumes responsibility for those children enrolled in the program. If a student is attending the program at the conclusion of an after-school activity, he/she must report immediately to the program moderator, and the fee is billed accordingly.
Students may not wait on school premises for siblings involved in after-school activities. If one family member is involved in an activity, the other member(s) must leave school premises by their usual mode of transportation, or remain at CARES.
At this time, St. Joseph School does not provide before school care.
