St. Joseph Youth Chorus
This year, St. Joseph School is once again offering our fun and exciting Choral Program to all interested students in grades 5, 6, 7, and 8. This program, directed by Mrs. Barbara Kovacs, is designed to add to the musical education of the students, as well as giving these students an opportunity to experience the joy and satisfaction of singing with a large group.
Making music is an important part of a student's development, encouraging discipline and responsibility, while having lots of fun at the same time. We've had some wonderful performances over the past few years, and this year's will be superb as well!
We are expanding the choral program this year by inviting all youth of the parish in grades 5-8 to join the group, which will have the new name of the St. Joseph Youth Chorus. These young parishioners will join the St. Joseph School students at all rehearsals and performances.
We've all enjoyed our Chorus Program over the last four years, as well as the enthusiasm and support of the students, parents, and faculty at St. Joseph School. We all are looking forward to continuing the musical traditions in our Church, as well as helping our next generation of musicians forge new ones. This will be an exciting year for the young musicians at St. Joseph School!
