St. Joseph School Band
Coordinator- Theresa Hoover
Students in grades 4 through 8 are eligible to participate in the band program. Currently there are 3 bands: 4th Grade Band, 5th Grade Band, and Advanced Band (6th-8th grade). The band students meet once weekly in small groups for a 30-minute band lesson and once weekly for a full band rehearsal. The bands perform two concerts each school year, one in the winter and another in the spring.
The 5th Grade Band and Advanced Band have also performed in the past for the residence at St. Martha’s and at the National Catholic Band Association Festival, where in 2007 the 5th Grade Band received a rating of “Excellent” and the Advanced Band a rating of “Superior”.

Wednesday, May 7th, 7:30pm – Advanced Band Spring Concert
Friday, May 16th, 7:30pm – 4th Grade Band and 5th Grade Band Spring Concert
