January 27, 2010
There are many ways to measure success, not the least of
which is the way your child describes you when talking to a friend.
Hi everyone, remember me?
I know it's been quite some time since I've sent out an email update,
but that doesn't mean that we've not been busy at work preparing for our many upcoming events!
There's a lot going on, a lot coming up, and a lot to look forward to during these otherwise dreary months of cold weather.
I hope that 2010 is off to a great start for everyone so far, and we're looking forward to a fantastic year ahead!
NIGHT AT THE RACES
Join us for "A Night in the City" on Saturday, February 27th, 6:00pm
This is the most fun-filled night just for us grown-ups all year!
There are lots of new additions this year, including a live auction.
Be sure to register early...first 100 people registered are entered to win a big basket of cheer.
AND...why not bring out a new friend or two? If you do, you're entered into a drawing for $50 cash,
which could come in handy for babysitting that night! If you're like many of us, you don't take too
many opportunities to go out without the kids. This is the perfect night to do that! The first
night we attended Night at the Races, we didn't know too many people, and we had no idea what to expect.
It turned out to be a fun-filled night where we met great new friends, won some cool stuff, and we've
never missed one since!
Be sure to check out the Night at the Races website for all sorts of information:

You can register there, learn about sponsorship and ad opportunities, and much more. Check it out!
Co-chairs Jane O'Neill and Becky Bailey have been hard at work with their committees preparing a night to remember.
They need your help.
There are lots of volunteer opportunities,
and to make it easy, you can sign up right online by clicking here:

There are lots of slots to be filled to ensure a successful event. Be sure to scroll all the way to the bottom and click "DONE" to be sure your form goes through.
And finally, be sure to join us for Movie Night, always a big hit with the kids. It's THIS FRIDAY, January 29, and the movie is Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. Admission "price" is a donation for our auction or raffle. Please see the flyer for details:

Hope to see you there!
Thank you in advance for supporting this very important event!
Have a wonderful week, and we'll see you at the
Catholic Schools Week opening Mass (10:30 am) and Open House this Sunday!
