The mission of St. Joseph Catholic School is to foster the capabilities of students in a safe, Christ-centered atmosphere.  The parish, school, and home communities work together to meet the educational needs of our students.  We build a strong academic foundation by utilizing various methods of instruction and assessment.  We recognize the importance of technology and are committed to using this tool to enhance the learning process.  We create a learning environment rich with dialogue, inquiry, exploration and risk-taking, which empowers our students to take an active part in the learning process.  We focus on contributing to the Christian humanization of the world, which permeates all parts of the curriculum and concentrates on respect, responsibility, and reverence.

We are a community that gives glory to God and proclaims His message of love and salvation

We believe that:

  •  Religion is the foundation of all learning.

  •  The spiritual formation of children is the communal effort of priests, deacons, teachers and parents.

  •  Outreach is an integral part of the education of students.

  •  Basic skills instruction and the integration of technology form the basis of a solid academic program.

  •  Learning is a continuum; good educators integrate both content and process instruction utilizing different modalities that value the individuality and uniqueness of each student.

  •  A Catholic learning environment encourages students to respect the dignity of each person, to be responsible for their actions, and to show reverence for God, reverence for people and creation, and reverence for sacred actions.
